Sound design & sound effects

Sound design is a creative and technical process aimed at creating, recording, and assembling sound elements to complete and enrich the visual content of a film, a series, a video game or any other media.

It includes the creation of sound effects in our sound studio or through sound banks, ambiances and the integration of music. The sound designer uses a range of techniques and tools to sculpt the soundscape, ensuring that the sound meets the client's expectations and enhances the overall viewer experience.

Image & audio restoration

Image & audio restoration is a technical and creative process aimed at repairing, improving and revitalizing the visual and audio elements of old or damaged audiovisual content. This work is crucial to preserving cultural heritage, making archives accessible to new audiences and ensuring their compatibility with modern broadcast technologies.

In image restoration, our lab corrects issues such as scratches, fading, water damage, blurring, or other alterations to the original media over time.

We use Phoenix digital retouching software which allows us to restore the visual quality without altering the original work. Techniques may include film scanning, color correction, digital image cleaning, and restoration of missing or damaged frames.

Audio restoration, on the other hand, focuses on repairing and improving the sound quality of recordings. It can include removing unwanted background noises such as crackles, crackles, hisses and buzzes, as well as correcting distortions and recovering lost frequencies. Our sound processing tools and techniques aim to restore the clarity and dynamics of the original audio track, while respecting the intent and atmosphere of the original content.

These restoration processes require in-depth technical expertise and artistic sensitivity, as they must not only repair defects, but also remain true to the original aesthetic and mood of the work. Image and audio restoration is therefore a delicate balance between the use of modern technology and preserving the historical and cultural integrity of audiovisual content.

Catalog management

IMAGINE ensures the organization, conservation and accessibility of your programs from all types of media.

A first indexing step makes it easy to identify your content (titles, format, cadence, audio versions, etc.).

After initial processing, the content goes through different post-production phases, such as editing, audio and image restoration, audio conformation. At each stage, intermediate and final versions are carefully cataloged to ensure rigorous monitoring and to facilitate rollbacks or modifications, if necessary.

IMAGINE uses a digital content management system (Media Asset Management - MAM) to organize the catalog. This system allows for fast and efficient searching using advanced filtering and searching features. They also provide sharing and collaboration options, essential in a multidisciplinary environment.

TPN certified, data security is a major issue for us. We implement backup strategies against accidental losses or disasters.

Careful archiving not only guarantees the long-term conservation of the works, but also their accessibility for possible restorations, rebroadcasts or future reuse.

In addition, by storing your programs at IMAGINE, you benefit from our comprehensive services: dubbing, subtitling, accessibility, graphics, etc.

Choosing IMAGINE in post-production means benefiting from a complete and personalized service offering.

Each element is carefully processed and optimized to create an exceptional audiovisual experience.
